a) When visiting the website

When you access our website https://www.strukturmetall.de, the browser used on your end device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. d) If you request a catalog / brochure

Provided you have expressly consented acc. to Art. 6 para. (1) (a) GDPR , we use and process the information you have provided in the input form for the dispatch of the catalogs and brochures you have ordered on our website. The personal data collected for the order from us will be deleted three months after completion of your order.

A deletion at a later date takes place in cases in which, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 (1) (c) GDPR is required to store for a longer period of time due to tax and commer-cial requirements for storage and documentation (HGB and the German fiscal code (AO)) or you are obliged to make further storage in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 (1) (a) GDPR have expressly consented.

e) If you send us an e-mail

For questions or messages of any kind without or in connection with existing or in-tended contractual relationships with us, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via e-mail.

Your e-mail to us including your personal data contained therein will be processed by us. The processing of data for the purpose of establishing contact or other communi-cation with us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 (1) (a) GDPR on the ba-sis of your voluntarily granted consent, which you give us by sending your e-mail to us.   • for you to be identified as our customer
  • to ensure the proper settlement of the contract
  • for you to be served properly
  • for correspondence with you
  • for invoicing

The data will be processed upon your request and is required for the purposes men-tioned in Art. 6 para. 1 (1) (b) GDPR for the appropriate processing of your order/request and for the mutual fulfilment of obligations arising from the contractual relationship.

The personal data collected by us for our business relationship will be stored and de-leted as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. However, the data will be deleted at the earliest at the end of the statutory period of retention. Deletion at a later date shall take place in cases in which we are obliged by Article 6 para. 1 (1) (c) GDPR due to tax and commercial law storage and documentation obligations (pursu-ant to the German Commercial Code (HGB and the German fiscal code (AO)) to a longer storage or if you have consented to a storage beyond this in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 (1) (a) GDPR.

Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

The personal data collected by us for our business relationship will be stored and de-leted as soon as the purpose of the storage is no longer required. A deletion, howev-er, takes place at the earliest at the expiry of the statutory retention obligation. h) If you apply to a job advertisment at Strukturmetall

In the course of your application (online or in paper form) we collect and process the following personal application data:

  • First name, surname
  • Address
  • Phone
  • a valid e-mail address
  • application documents (letter of application, CV, certificates, certificates, etc.)

The collection and processing of your personal application data is exclusively earmarked for the filling of positions within our company. Any further use or transfer of your application data to third parties will not take place.

The data processing is based on your request and is in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 (1) (b) GDPR for the stated purposes for the appropriate processing of your application.

A deletion of your personal application data takes place basically three months after completion of the application process. This does not apply insofar as statutory provisions preclude deletion, further storage is necessary for the purpose of providing evidence or you have expressly consented to a longer storage period.

If we are unable to provide you with a vacancy, but your profile suggests that your application may be of interest for future job postings, we will store your personal application information for a period of twelve months, unless you expressly consent to such storage and use.

We will only pass on your personal data to third parties if
